About Us

Our founders are well-known leaders in medicine, community health, business and social activism. They come from extraordinarily diverse backgrounds yet share a common history - a demonstrated passion for improving the lives of those around them.

From their various professions, they each observed the inequities in health offerings to minority populations and recognized that Latinos and other minority populations were dramatically underrepresented in clinical studies. As they sought to address that issue, they realized that greater involvement in such trials was the first step in a deeper, data-based understanding of minority populations.
